For my Mood Board, I decided to do it by hand. I found the majority of the pictures on the internet, along with various screenshots from YouTube. The Mood Board shows our inspirations and influences that we will use to create our music video. Although our chosen song is R&B, we are going against the conventions of an R&B video, by contradicting certain connotations that you would associate with the genre. We started off with the idea of a fashion show set in a different era, which is when I looked at movies like Grease and the 'Beauty School Drop Out' scene. We would use things like backing dancers and a lead singer to convey that our music video is Performance. We would also like our video to be filmed on stage, so it conforms with the performance used in BSDO. The film 'Grease' is set in the 1950's, so we wanted to go with that time frame for our music video. We would include the style of costume, hair and make up, as these also feature in my Mood Board.
